|26 September 2012 –CSR Solutions joined efforts across the nation to make our beaches cleaner, safer and more beautiful by participating in the 2012 International Coastal Cleanup in September. The coastline of choice was the Foreshore in Port of Spain where several bags of garbage were collected and sorted into plastics, glass, organic waste, etc. for recycling and responsible disposal. We look forward to the 2013 International Coastal Cleanup and hope to see more activities and participants next year. Every little bit helps!|

|18 September 2012 – International Day of Peace will be observed 21 September. In the aftermath of Rio+20, this year’s theme is “Sustainable Peace for a Sustainable Future”. The root of many conflicts is fuelled by the acquisition of valuable resources such as oil, gold and water. Natural resource management, control as well as ownership remain central issues. This local International Coastal Clean-up exercise is organized every year by the Coastal Conservancy and the Heroes Foundation.
